My Vision for Humanity
As an eternal optimist, I would like to believe that humanity will embrace Gandhian thought and live nonviolent and simple lives, and through this create A WORLD OF LOVE. In the world of my vision all will have access to work, security, and comfort. Men and women will be able to walk the roads at any time without fear of being attacked. There will be no discrimination or restriction of diverse religious beliefs or on the basis of ethnic, race, gender, or other differences. Our spirituality will teach us to love and respect one another unconditionally. All children will have access to education and health care. No one will go hungry. There will be no extremely rich or extremely poor people. Because every one will have access to work the hours of work will be shorter and people will be able to enjoy the beauties of this world through leisure in the parks, museums, and libraries. The money spent on manufacture of weapons will be spent on creating beautiful spaces for people to enjoy, and the architects of these sites will take environmental conservation into account. Finally, we will be able to reverse the weather changes, the depletion of natural resources, and the ozone layer through our own self restrained behaviour. Let us never cease to hope!
